Full display, smaller footprint

In small convenience stores, kiosks, cafés and delis every centimetre of floor counts. Slimline display fridges are built shallower than standard cabinets, so they keep aisles and counters clear while still showing a full range of products.

Slimline ranges

• Slimline multidecks – about 600 mm deep in silver, black or mirrored stainless steel, from 600 to 1800 mm wide (about 148 to 500 litres), with four shelves plus base and a night blind.
• Slim serve over counters – about 790 mm deep in 1000, 1200, 1500 and 2000 mm widths, with chilled storage underneath.
• Slimline double-glazed patisserie fridges – 900, 1200 and 1500 mm wide in silver or black, with sliding rear doors, from about £698 + VAT.
• Dual temperature hot and cold multideck – a 600 mm slimline cabinet with chilled and heated shelves.

Planning a narrow space

• Measure the aisle with the cabinet in place: customers need room to stand and browse, and staff room to restock.
• Check door widths on the delivery route – a 600 mm depth helps through narrow doorways.
• Choose open multidecks or sliding rear doors where hinged doors would block the aisle.
• Keep slim open fridges away from entrance draughts; they are designed for rooms up to about 25 °C.
